Piano Pathways

Piano Pathways (5-6 years) creatively introduce students to the piano keyboard in our group piano classroom. Students begin their exploration of the keyboard through sound stories and improvisation. They will learn the patterns of the keyboard, musical alphabet, rhythmic notation, tempo (fast/slow), and dynamics (soft/loud). An introduction to the fundamentals of notation will come through creating beginning compositions. Finger technique games provide a path to strong fingers. And ensemble activities hone listening, responding, and playing.

Tuition: $32 per class

Full year course: Classes start Monday, September 21 and end Friday, May 28.

Makeup classes may be scheduled as needed through June 12.
