Little Strings: Pluck & Play

An introduction to violin that will also explore viola, cello, and bass. Through hands-on learning, students will discover what each of these instruments has in common. They will learn to hold each instrument. However, most of the class will focus on the violin. Students will learn how to position the violin, hold the bow, and play open strings. Games, instrument construction (box violins), rhythmic activities, and more will provide a strong foundation for future musical studies.
