Concertante Strings offers intermediate to early advanced string players an engaging orchestral experience in a collaborative, small-ensemble setting. Students will enjoy making music together while strengthening ensemble skills and musical independence through a variety of repertoire.
Rehearsals focus on developing musicianship and ensemble skills while refining intonation, tone, and musical expression in a supportive, collaborative environment. This 6-week summer session provides an excellent opportunity for students to stay musically active and continue their growth between academic-year ensembles.
Level guideline: Suzuki Book 3 through Book 5 (or equivalent). Students should be comfortable reading music independently and have prior ensemble experience or teacher recommendation.
