Concertante Strings

Concertante Strings offers intermediate to early advanced string players an engaging orchestral experience in a collaborative, small-ensemble setting. Students will enjoy making music together while strengthening ensemble skills and musical independence through a variety of repertoire.
Rehearsals focus on developing musicianship and ensemble skills while refining intonation, tone, and musical expression in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Level guideline: Suzuki Book 3 through Book 5 (or equivalent). Students should be comfortable reading music independently and have prior ensemble experience or teacher recommendation.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to warm up and tune.
Logistics
Thursdays, 7:15-8:30 pm
All string ensembles will start the week of September 14 and end the week of May 10
Save the date: JOMPFest evening concert, May 15, 2027
Tuition: $650
