Claire Falvo

Piano, Voice

Claire began studying piano at the age of eight, discovering early on just how rewarding and empowering music could be. By age ten, she had begun formal classical training while also exploring mallet percussion and performing with various choirs throughout Pennsylvania. Her love of music continued to grow as she discovered the many ways musicians can learn, collaborate, and express themselves.

Claire went on to study Music Therapy and Psychology at Duquesne University, where she received extensive training in piano, guitar, and voice. During her time at Duquesne, she performed with the university’s Electronic Ensemble and Voices of Spirit traveling choir, accompanied fellow musicians, and completed a six-month music therapy internship. After graduating in March 2020, she began teaching piano and voice privately at music schools and studios throughout Massachusetts.

As a performer, Claire has experience across a wide range of musical settings and styles. She has performed with rock bands throughout the area, served as an accompanist for theater productions and fellow musicians, and spent a year performing with the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps.

As an instructor, Claire's goal is not only to help students become capable, confident musicians, but to help them develop a genuine love of music that stays with them for years to come.

Outside of teaching and performing, Claire enjoys exploring various mediums of art, reading, and spending time with her family.
