Bridget DePaola

Flute

A native of Rutland, MA, Bridget DePaola has performed on flute, alto flute and piccolo throughout the Northeast, Midwest, and beyond in solo, chamber music, and orchestral settings. She is currently on faculty at Rice Square School and the Joy of Music Program both in Worcester, MA. Previously, Ms. DePaola worked for Portland Public Schools in Maine and over the years taught students from infants through adults in music and movement, general music, chorus, and band as well as private flute students from beginner through advanced. She holds a Master of Music degree in flute performance from the University of Akron in Ohio where she was a winner of the Concerto Competition. Ms. DePaola’s undergraduate flute performance degree is from Ithaca College School of Music where she graduated magna cum laude. While engaged in doctoral study on a fellowship at Rutgers University in NJ, Ms. DePaola acted also as lecturer/flute instructor for the university and performed as a member of Helix! contemporary music ensemble. She has loved sharing the joy of music with students from infants through adults over the years!
