Eclectic Immersion

Join us for a weekly course exploring contemporary styles for string players. Students will learn to create string arrangements of popular songs. Students will learn playing by ear, simple improvisation, and how to recreate the roles of other instruments on violin, viola, cello, or harp. This session will end in a short performance for family and friends of songs chosen by the teacher and/or students. This class is open to students of all levels who have at least started learning to shift and are able to play moderately fast (approximately late Suzuki book 2 and up).
