Eclectic Immersion

Join us for a creative course exploring contemporary styles for string players. Students will meet for 60 minutes weekly and learn to create string arrangements of popular songs. Students will learn playing by ear, simple improvisation, and how to recreate the roles of other instruments on violin, viola, cello, or harp. This class is open to students of all levels who have at least started learning to shift and are able to play moderately fast (approximately late Suzuki book 2 and up).
