Joy of Music Youth Orchestra (JYO) ~ Summer 2023

Summer JYO is an exciting two-week intensive for advanced strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion. Students enjoy playing together while enhancing their orchestral skills over the summer. Recent repertoire includes works by J. S. Bach, Bartok, Beethoven, Bizet, Debussy, Dvorak, Elgar, Faure, Haydn, Mozart, Saint-Saens and Schubert. Rehearsals focus on developing musicianship and ensemble skills and refining interpretation, intonation and sound.
Teacher recommendation for new students is required. Students not taking private lessons at JOMP are welcome but need to schedule an audition. Please call Caroline Reiner-Williams at 508-856-9541 or email her at . We'd be delighted to have JYO alumni join us again this summer!
