Music & Movement 3 & 4

With parent, grandparent or caregiver. Limited to 6 pairs

This class provides an introduction to the fun of interacting musically with other children in a small music class with parents or caregivers.  Children learn a variety of songs, tapping the beat or the rhythm of the words as they sing. Using the songs they have learned, contrasts in rhythm, tempo, dynamics, timbre, phrasing and form are explored through rhythm instruments and movement.  Especially after the isolation many children experienced during the pandemic, this is a wonderful opportunity to develop socialization skills while also building a musical foundation of rhythm, melody and ensemble.
