JOMP String Ensemble I

Joy of Music String Ensemble 1 introduces young string players to the fun of playing in a group with other young musicians. They will learn how to balance their sound, listen to other parts, and play in tune. Many members of the JOMP Youth Orchestra (JYO) and Sinfonietta Strings had their first ensemble experience playing in JOMSE 1. The level guideline is Suzuki Book 1 at least through #10 (Allegretto).

June 27 – August 8, 6:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesdays

Teacher recommendation for new students is required. Students not taking private lessons at JOMP are welcome but must schedule an audition. Please call or email to arrange a placement audition.
