Joe D’Angelo

Joe D’Angelo majored in Music Performance and Composition at UMass Lowell. He has also studied jazz guitar with Rich Falco, classical guitar with Peter Clemente, and improvisation with Bruce Bartlett. Joe has played with many groups over the years, and is currently performing with the Johnny Dollar Experiment, Blind Tiger Swing Posse, the Rocco Sevino Jazz Trio, and the Denis Coughlin Band. He has appeared on numerous recordings on MGM, BASF, United Artists, and Evolution Records.

In addition to the Joy of Music Program, where he has been on the faculty since 1991, Joe teaches guitar in the Worcester Public Schools Fine Arts Magnets (Burncoat Junior and Senior High Schools) and at Clemente Music Studio in Worcester.

Sean Farias

Sean Farias received his undergraduate degree in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and his Master's Degree from the Longy School of Music.  Originally from the New England area, he can be heard with an eclectic array of performers throughout the area ranging in styles from jazz, avant garde, celtic, folk, pop/rock, and electronic. 

Sean has performed throughout the US, Canada, Europe and South Korea.  He has also been fortunate enough to perform with many local and international artists on the cutting edge of contemporary improvised music including the likes of George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Charlie Kohlhase, Bob Gullotti, Jeff Galindo, Brooke Sofferman, Laszlo Gardony, Steve Slagle and many more.   In 2009 Sean recorded on the PBS documentary "The Mosque In Morgantown," named Best Documentary Feature at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival.  He teaches at the Rivers School Conservatory and joined the JOMP Faculty in 2014.
