Kerry Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and English from William Smith College in Geneva NY. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Louisville (KY) and is a certified music teacher for grades K-12. Kerry incorporates elements of Orff, Kodaly and Dalcroze in teaching music to children. She earned Orff-Shulwerk Certifications for Levels I, II and III, in Orff Curriculum Development and in Orff for Middle School from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Kerry studied Dalcroze Eurhythmics at the Dalcroze School of Music in NYC, where her primary teacher was Anne Farber. She also studied Theory and Composition at the Juilliard School of Music.
Prior to moving to Massachusetts in the summer of 2009, Kerry was Music Specialist at Sacred Heart Model School in Louisville and served as treasurer of the Kentucky Orff-Shulwerk Association. She is currently the Music teacher at the Thomas Prince Elementary School in Princeton MA. Kerry joined the Joy of Music faculty in June 2010.
