Rescheduled from January 24 due to the snow storm, over 250 students of all ages and levels will play their favorite classical, jazz, folk and contemporary pieces in an inspiring day-long celebration of music. The students gather family and friends to sponsor their performances. Our goal for JOMPATHON 2015 is $10,000 to help us meet this year’s total financial aid need of $140,000.
This is a wonderful and uplifting celebration of music, community and youth education by musicians of all ages and levels of ability. It also personifies our mission “to enrich lives and foster community through accessible music education and performance.”
The public is invited to drop in anytime during the day. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated but not required. 100% of proceeds go to scholarships.
Jim epitomized the spirit of this event, and he believed deeply in JOMP's mission "to enrich lives and foster community through accessible music education and performance." Our Financial Aid Program is at the heart of this mission and Jim is at the heart of JOMPATHON. We'd love to see you!
